The Genoa University Nursing Honor Society was founded in 2018 at the University of Genoa, Italy. It is a non-profit scientific society that promotes the excellence of nursing.
Its mission is to improve health globally and celebrate the excellence of nursing scholarship and leadership in Italy and globally.
The aims of the Honor Society are to:

Reinforce commitment to the ideals and goals of the profession.
It also aims to be recognized as the referral for Italy of the Nursing international leadership system and is following the international procedure envisaged to be chartered as a SIGMA THETA TAU Honor Society of Nursing..
During this preparatory phase, we shall pursue the same Mission of SIGMA International, which is to promote health globally and internationally recognise the excellence of nursing at an academic, leadership and clinical level.
To become a Member of the Genoa University Honor Society, a set of requirements need to be met.
Therefore, candidates who meet these requirements can send their application, which will then be assessed by the Board of the Honor Society for approval.
